WHY THE VIDEOS?

Well, it all started when we found out our tape recorder was busted before the Black Lips interview. We had the video camera and decided that would suffice. We have known them for awhile and they were cool with it. At the time, we hadn't planned on posting the footage and we filmed it solely for our reference. We weren't trying to be professional. For example, the basement of the club they played has a lot of "props," hence the giant, green tarp in the background. When we had to edit the interview for the publication, we were saddened by what was missing. This is when we decided it would be fun to show what happens behind-the-scenes for anyone who cares or dares to watch. Now we bring the camera everywhere.

We don't think we'll be receiving any awards for our film making brilliance. We just thought we'd share our very RAW experiences with our readers.
